Updated 1/12/12 - The Associate membership closed with a waiting list.
ASSOCIATE WAITING LIST GUIDELINES
1. Per BETC policy, once active membership (defined by the combination of
active Share and active Associates) reaches 610 members, subsequent Associate
applications are placed on a waiting list in order of receipt. A completed
Associate application must be on file to be on the waiting list.
2. Regardless of the active membership count, Share memberships are still
received and activated. Associate applicants, whether on the waiting list
or new, fall in line behind Share applications.
3. When the active membership count drops below 610, the next Associate on the
waiting list will be contacted via both phone and email. They will then have
10 days from date of notification to make payment. If no response is received,
that name will be deleted.
4. Members holding other memberships, USTA, B-330, etc…, who would like an
Associate membership, must submit a completed Associate application and will
then be placed in the next spot on the waiting list. Any Capital Fund deposit
will be applied to an Associate membership, provided the memberships are contiguous.
5. Medical leave and/or inactive memberships, whether Share or Associate, are
activated ahead of any waiting list applicants.
6. To determine current status on the waiting list, applicants may contact
membership accounts at any time.
